Healthier turkey burgers with a Buffalo flare. Because this recipe calls for lean ground turkey instead of a higher-fat meat, I prefer grilling these on a Blackstone® griddle instead of a grill with grates.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons Light Sour Cream
  • 1 tablespoon Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon White Wine Vinegar
  • ½ cup Celery thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup Fresh Parsley chopped
  • 1 Green Onions thinly sliced
  • 1 ounce Crumbled Blue Cheese
  • 1 pound 93% Lean Ground Turkey
  • 2 tablespoons Buffalo Wing Sauce such as Stonewall Kitchen
  • 4 buns Hamburger Buns such as Pepperidge Farm Soft White
  • 1 large Tomato sliced

Instructions
 

  • Make the Celery-Slaw: Whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, and vinegar in a bowl. Add celery, green onion, parsley, and cheese. Toss to coat.
  • Shape the turkey into 4 patties, about ¾-inch thick. Grill 7-8 minutes per side over medium to low heat. Remove from the grill and baste with buffalo sauce.
  • Serve burgers on buns with sliced tomato and Blue Cheese-Celery Slaw.

Notes

Note:  Refrigerate the turkey patties 15-20 minutes before grilling to make the patties firmer and easier to grill.
Balance the Plate with sliced strawberries and whip cream.
