Equipment
- Blackstone Griddle or Grill
Ingredients
- ½ teaspoon Onion Powder
- ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- ½ teaspoon Kosher Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 pound 90% Lean Ground Beef
- ¾ pound 80% Lean Ground Chuck
- 6 slices Cheddar Cheese Slices such as Sargento Ultra Thin Cheddar Slices
- 1 (7-ounce) can Diced Green Chiles
- 6 buns Brioche Style Hamburger Buns such as Nature's Own
Instructions
- Combine onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- In a large bowl, gently combine ground beef and ground chuck. Form into 6 patties, about 4-5 inches wide. Sprinkle both sides with the seasoning mixture.
- Grill burgers 3 minutes per side. Top each with a slice of cheese for the last minute of cooking. Place 2 tablespoons of green chilies on top of the burgers and serve.
Notes
You can use whole green chiles instead of the diced ones. Place chiles on a paper towel to drain and keep from making the bun soggy.
