Marinated Steak Kebabs

Tonia Bloom
Juicy and flavorful marinated steak kebabs with bell peppers and whole mushrooms are a fun way to bring the grilling indoors.
Tip: You can make this a freezer meal by storing the marinated steak in an airtight container or freezer bag for a quick weeknight meal. I also take the frozen marinated steak when we go camping for an easy prep meal. Just let the meat thaw in a fridge.

Equipment

  • Indoor Grill

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Beef Sirloin fat trimmed and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • ¼ cup Olive Oil
  • ¼ cup Yellow Mustard
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Free Seasoning Salt
  • teaspoons Dried Oregano
  • 2 Bell Peppers any color cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 (8-ounce) package Mushrooms whole
  • 8 Wooden Skewers soaked in water

Instructions

Marinate the Steak

  • Place the steak in a 1-gallon freezer bag.
In a 2-cup measuring cup, stir together oil, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt, and oregano. Blend well.
Pour marinade into bag with steak. Seal bag and massage marinade into steak. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Or, freeze for up to 6 months.

Grill the Kebabs

  • Preheat indoor grill to 450°F as per manufacturer's instructions.
Thread the skewers by alternating the marinated steak, bell peppers, and mushrooms. Discard any remaining marinade. Each kebab should have approximately 3 ounces of meat.
Grill for 10-12 minutes; rotating once. Don't overcrowd the grill. I did mine in 2 batches of 4 kebabs each time.
