Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon High Heat Olive Oil
- 1½ cups Onion sliced thin
- 1½ teaspoons Chopped Garlic (jar)
- ⅛ teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1½ pounds Thin Sliced Beef Sirloin Steak the thinner the better
- ½ cup Fresh Parsley chopped
- 2 ounces Giardiniera rough chop
- 6 (84-grams) each Ciabatta Rolls (84g) split
- 6 slices Reduced Fat Provolone Cheese
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak in batches and cook until browned, about 30 seconds to 1 minute per side. Transfer meat to a bowl and cover to keep warm.
- In same skillet add onion. Cook and stir as needed 4 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add onion and garlic along with any pan juices to the bowl with the steak. Add parsley and toss to coat.
- Divide the steak and onion mixture evenly between the six ciabatta roll bottoms. Top each with giardiniera and slice of cheese, the roll top.
