  • Preheat griddle and coat with cooking spray.
  • Combine egg, oil, and water in a medium bowl. Whisk in pancake mix until well blended. Let stand for 5 minutes.
  • Pour batter onto hot griddle in 5-inch circles. Cook until edges look dry and middle has bubbles. Turn over with a spatula and cook for another minute, or until bottoms are golden brown.
  • Recipe makes 8 (5-inch) pancakes.
    Each serving = 2 pancakes, ½ tablespoon buttery spread, and ¼ cup of syrup.
