Classic glazed carrots with a little bourbon. Don't want the alcohol? No problem. These carrots are just as good without the bourbon.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups Water
  • pounds Baby Carrots
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 3 tablespoons Light Brown Sugar packed
  • 2 tablespoons Bourbon optional

Instructions
 

  • Bring the water to a boil in a 3-quart saucepan. Add carrots and sugar. Return to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.
    Meanwhile, melt the butter and brown sugar in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Stir in the cooked carrots. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes, or until carrots are fork tender. Add the bourbon (if desired) and cook for 3 more minutes.
